Course Description

Program Description Supply chain and operations managers are at the core of any company. They keep businesses running smoothly and ensure that clients, suppliers and employees are effective and successful in their work. They obtain, develop and manage the resources required to deliver goods and services to clients and contribute to key decisions involving facilities management, logistics, inventory control, purchasing, quality control and scheduling. You will gain hands-on experience using software from SAP – the world’s leading supplier of enterprise resource planning software. NOTE: Students enrolling in this program are required to purchase their own laptop. Operations management is the core functional area of any business. Operations managers obtain, develop and manage the resources required to deliver goods and services to clients. This includes contributing to key decisions involving: Facilities management Inventory control Purchasing Quality assurance Production planning and scheduling Supply chain management Transportation, distribution and logistics Graduates are well-positioned to pursue a variety of professional accreditations with professional organizations including: APICS The Association for Operations Management Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) After completing one year of business study, you may choose to graduate with a certificate in Business Fundamentals.
